Appleby Castle

Appleby Castle was founded in 1170. That means it’s waiting for The Summer Pudding for a whopping 846 years!

The Keep is the oldest building at the castle, still in existence today and little has changed in over 900 years. It is one of the few remaining intact Norman Keeps in Great Britain.

The Summer Pudding festival will spread across the grounds, with fruity stages, divine roaming performances and sugary circus acts popping up for the day, inviting you indulge yourself and roam free! The mouthwatering After Party will take over the striking Inner Bailey, where you can dance until dawn (almost) to the sounds of Gypsy Hill and The Correspondents.
